Drive Thru California Surf Camp!

April  5-9, 2010

 Come join our first Drive-Thru California! This unique surf trip will travel to the best surf destinations in California. The trip will be launching at Fulcrum Surf Studio and will head to Trestles as the first stop. Then depending on swell directions and tide, the crew will drive, surf and sleep in a luxury 40 foot RV.

Itinerary: (based on surf reports of the day)

Day 1: Trestles à Newport Beach à   Huntington Beach

Day 2: El Porto à Topanga -> Malibu

Day 3: Ventura C Street à Santa Barbara -> Rincon

Day 4: San Luis Obispo à poosibly Santa Cruz (depending on swell)

Day 5: Trestles

 

Accomodations:

One of the nicest executive RV rental coaches available.  Luxurious leather interior, Corian countertops and lazy boy recliners all add to your feeling of “home away from home”. The triple slide-out design gives the coach plenty of room for all to enjoy.  The powerful 330hp CAT diesel engine pushes the coach with great ease, while the Freightliner chassis provides a smooth ride on the roughest roads.  You won’t find a luxury coach in this class and year at these prices anywhere in Southern California

For the teenage surfer looking to wreak havoc on next season’s competitive circuit and place stickers on their board, Fulcrum Surf is proud to present the Elite Team: a pack of top notch competitive surfers who receive weekly training through core workouts, yoga, and video analysis among other progressive methods designed to boost the level of already skilled surfers.

Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00 am involve constant coaching through mock heats and progressive-minded expression sessions at San Diego’s most rippable surfbreaks while Fulcrum Surf’s premier coaches, including founder and former WQS warrior, Dan Mori, video and coach. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Elite Team meets at the Fulcrum Surf Studio in Solana Beach between 4:00-6:00 pm. to be walked through a video analysis of their Monday and Wednesday sessions as well as core training and yoga with certified instructors. Both the core training and yoga is tailored specifically to your surfing goals to assure surfers that the time spent conditioning is not just getting you jacked, but jacking up the height on your air revos as well. Knowing that each individual surfer is different and what perfects your frontside fin blast might make your best friend bog harder than an Arizona kook, Fulcrum Surf is proud to bring a custom approach to coaching each and every surfer. After each video analysis, the surf footage is edited and published online on the Fulcrum Surf Channel on www.youtube.com.  At only $200 per 2 weeks, a package that includes 16 hours of elite training, this modern approach to surf coaching allows our program to consistently enhance the performance of San Diego’s best teenage surfers: the Elite Team
