- Pick a date and time online.
- Arrive with your swimsuit on. We bring the board and wetsuit.
- Surf your one-hour lesson with your coach.

How long is a lesson?
Every Fulcrum lesson is one hour.
Do I need experience?
No. We coach adults from their first wave through advanced surfing.
What is included?
Your surfboard, wetsuit and coach. Just bring a swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen.
How much does it cost?
A one-hour private lesson is $240, booked online.
Where do lessons meet?
La Jolla Shores or 19th Street in Del Mar, depending on conditions. We confirm the exact spot when you book.
Can I train with Justin?
Yes. Fulcrum founder Justin Spadafora also coaches 1-on-1. See private coaching with Justin.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel more than 24 hours ahead for a 50% refund. Within 24 hours there is no refund. Full policy
