Since March 2003, founder, Dan Mori, has built Fulcrum Surf school from ground up. He taught all the lessons that came through and focussed on technical teaching while maintaining a high level of customer service. After a few years in business, he recruited only top instructors that had both high level surf talent and teaching abilities. Many instructors have applied and have been weeded out through our strict process of elimination. Only the passionate and coachable instructors stay with us for years. Justin Spadafora was the first instructor to step up and continue the mission of Fulcrum Surf which is to teach each client as if it’s their family member. Justin is now a partner at Fulcrum Surf Inc and operations manager after 7 years.

Our instructors will be must meet the following qualifications:
1) Punctual
2) Understand how to relate with each customer in and out of the water and observe what the best teaching method is best for the client.
3) Be attentive and passionate in the water.
4) Instructors Must be at competitive level.
5) Carry your board after the lesson is over.
About our Summer Surf Camps: 10 Reasons to Choose Fulcrum Surf
1) Lowest instructor to student ratio guaranteed! 3 surfers to 1 instructor or less. If the waves are forecasted to be big, we will staff extra instructors to make sure the kids are safe….that is our number one priority
2) Biggest Camp Shwag: Quiksilver and Hansens have loaded us with a lot of gear to give out to the kids every Friday during the end of camp.
3) Camp Hydration: We are sponsored by Vitamin Water and Smart Water, which will be on ICE in coolers every day at camp.

6) We provide Full Suits during camp to minimize rashes and cold kids! Spring suits are available as well!
7) We have a camp director on the Beach to keep an eye on the kids at all time.
8) Foam Surf Boards are Top of the line INT Foam Boards. They are not the $100 Costco boards that many camps have been purchasing to save costs
9) Instructors are constantly monitored and replaced if they are not meeting Fulcrum Surf standards.
