My first experience traveling to the destination was earlier this year with founder of Fulcrum Surf, Dan Mori. As a point break, this waves offers extremely long right handers that unfold into a sandy cove. A quick walk down the beach is an extremely playful beach break that offeres peaks up and down the beach. The local crew is extremely welcoming, yet not afraid to demonstrate their knowledge of their home spot. Coming from San Diego County, I was super stoked to see the local surf comunity rallying around one another and pushing one another to push their limits. The feeling becomes almost contagious as you find yourself going harder and harder every wave. This waves it most definitely a hidden gem among the plethora of pointbreaks down the Salvadorian coastline.
