Surf Team Members and Parents
Welcome to Earl Warren Surf Team 2011-2012 season. We are looking forward to another year of activities including participation in new Scholastic Surf Series competitions.
Our 1st practice will be Thursday October 6th, 3:15 to 5:00pm at Power House Park in Del Mar (Parent meeting 4:30 to 5:00). There will also be a swim test on the first day of practice. Students will not be permitted to participate if completed forms and fees have not been received.
All forms and money due are at school office by noon on Friday, September 30th.
Turn in completed/signed forms with a check for $275.00 payable to the “Earl Warren Surf Team”.
Scholastic Surf Series Contest Days & Surf Team Practice Days (Subject to Change & Cancelations)
Due to Rain, Water Quality, Holidays, Poor & Dangerous Surf Conditions
Practice: will be held every Thursday 3:15pm – 4:45pm at 15th Street, Del Mar
Surf Contests: Regular season team competitions are scheduled on Saturday mornings October through March*. Contest schedule available at Scholastic Surf Series website at www.surfsss.org. (*State competition has a multiple day format in May 2012)
Competitors must maintain a 2.0 GPA to compete. Competitions are optional. The competition roster will be based on:

Students may participate in the surf club and not compete. All team members will receive a team T-shirt and sweatshirt.
