The debate surrounding the surfing madonna mural in Encinitas continues to rage on… Many of the local residents are opposed to the city councils plan to remove the artwork from its current location. On our way to the office this morning, we noticed this clever statement and stopped for a pic. Whether or not you agree with the artist here is somewhat irrelevant. What you have to love is that the Cardiff Kook has turned into a center for artistry, fashion and cultural statements, wedding proposals, and political commentary. It is yet another example of why North County beach towns are a very cool place to live, work and surf.
